this exhibition at the MET, Sargent and Paris, was the sole reason for my trip to nyc and i couldn’t have had a better time! big thanks to @renee.lavie for the lovely conversations and also for taking the photo of me next to the magnificent painting of madam x. i had a stellar time and i even bought the over priced catalogue XD loved seeing my crush dr pozzi up close and personal 😋

07/31/25 - more pics from nyc bc i got busy and didn’t have time to post them earlier 😶 i got to go to the MNM store which is a running family tradition between me and my momma. whenever she would fly anywhere, specualalt vegas, she’d get me a little smth smth from there- so when i saw the store i had to her smth for her. i also got to see my first broadway show! surreal to see diggy, a character from a childhood fav tv show, appear on stage and give a fantastic performance. AND THEN MCCLARENS??? cmon!! how i met your mother has been a staple in my life since i first caught a glimpse of it on a evening channel in 2014. it took years for me to find the name of the show i watched in a rental house while celebrating the new year with my mom and her friends. this show has genuinely influenced me, for better or for worse, and i am so genuinely happy i got the opportunity to visit the iconic birth place of an extraordinary show. and yes i had an outfit change ❤️

the weather in atl recently has been reminding me of pdx and i’ve started to miss home a lot. luckily for me i just went to my cousin’s @ethan_wiebe1 bday and got to spend time with family, even if for just a moment. after the birthday me n him spent the day together in the gloomy, windy and cold weather that comes around whenever autumn falls over the city. and yet it didn’t deter me. i love this weather with all my heart, it makes me feel peaceful and at home. specifically i love it when the air feels crisp fresh and cold after it rains (as opposed to the warm sweaty heat we get in georgia after is rains). nyc was the same. although it was a bustling city it still had that crisp after rain feeling. the city is truly magical and i get the hype. i’ll live to visit again soon (not live tho, it felt too fast paced for me)
